The Trafalgar Falls are easily accessible and one of Dominica's main tourist attractions, especially for cruise ship visitors. The falls are located on the eastern edge of Morne Trois Pitons National Park, about a 20 minute drive away from Roseau.
There is a well laid out trail (600m) from the visitors centre at the entrance to the two falls.
There are actually two falls (the father and the mother) roughly 125 feet high.
There is wooden platform perfect for viewing and taking photos of the falls.
If you are in good shape you can continue from the platform and climb over the slippery rocks to reach the pool of the base for a nice refreshing swim.
