Its got a great location, to start off (with a wonderful view overlooking the lagoon), and the crowd that frequents there, is a nice mix of locals and visitors alike. Thankfully, that has now been remedied since Garfield and a few partners opened the bar at the corner of the Grand Beach property. It has been an instant hit from the start, and his biggest problem has actually been getting people to leave when it is time to close the place for the night. It is situated to take advantage of visitors from the yachts anchored in the bay, so is set right on the waters edge, with a jetty built alongside. It is well patronized. It is about 15 minute drive from the Tourist belt (Grand Anse) along the south east coast heading north. Taking a taxi to get there would cost about US$20 from the Grand Anse area. [27/01/2008] Concord falls is one of the more popular falls on the island, with visitors, and is on the list of our favourite places to go hiking as it also passes through a field of nutmeg trees. Several of the local tour companies include it on their list of places to see. There is a wide variety of spices, jewellery, crafts, souvenirs, local food and much much more. From drinks and small snacks, to souvenirs and beach chairs.
