This charming and comfortable hotel is located only 6 miles from Lake Windermere. Set in 20 acres of private gardens and woodlands with views overlooking Morecambe Bay, you will be assured of a warm and friendly welcome. There is an outdoor tennis court, putting green, childrens play area and woodland walk while indoors there is a full sized snooker table, table tennis and dart-board.
Camelot Theme Park is a family amusement park that is geared towards younger children and the park has a wizard's theme.
The park has a variety of rides and attractions including a jousting show.
The park opens from March to October and the hours vary depending on the day and month.
Goodison Park - Everton Football Club
Goodison Park is the home football ground of Everton Football Club, one of the original 12 football clubs of the English Football League. The ground is located about 4km North from the city centre of Liverpool and a short distance from Anfield, the stadium of Liverpool Football Club. For all of Everton's home Premier League and cup matches, there is a regular shuttle bus service running directly from Sandhills railway station to Goodison Park. It operates for two hours before the match and for 50 minutes afterwards. Car parking is available in Stanley Park approximately half-a-mile from the stadium
This annual event which is organised by the Cumberland Agricultural Society features a livestock show with many classes of horses (including clydesdales, hunters and ponies), cattle, sheep and goats. Other shows include dogs, rabbits, poultry and tractors. The main ring stages a range of exhibitions inlcuding the Royal Artillery Motorcycle Display Team, craft demonstrations and cookery. There are competitions for schools and a range of activities (quad biking, paintball, face painting) for all ages.

The Rheged Centre ("The Village In The Hill") is named after the ancient Celtic Kingdom of Rheged. It was constructed from a disused limestone quarry and is covered over with the largest grass roof in Europe. Inside are a number of activities and attractions to suit every age. "Giant Movies" is the home of a large format cinema which rotates seven feature films on such diverse subjects as "Vikings: Journey to New Worlds" and "Africa: The Serengeti". "Discover" is a permanent exhibition and information centre covering the history of the region from the Ice Age to the present. It also houses the National Mountaineering Exhibition. The Centre hosts live music, fairs and childrens workshops. There is a play centre, a cafe and a shop which sells local produce, beers and crafts.

The Liverpool Museum & Tour Centre is situated at the Anfield football stadium. If offers information about the clubs successes and history.
The stadium tour takes you behind the scenes at Anfield and offers a chance to visit the dressing room, the trophy room, to walk down the tunnel to the sound of the crowd and to sit in the team dug-out. Tour guides will then accompany you on to The Kop. The tour also includes a view of a 10 minute film about the history and most recent successes of the club.
It is advisable to book in advance for stadium tours. The museum is open every day of the week from 10am until 5pm. Last admission to museum is 4pm.
