, 13/08/2010] You can find a lot of photos, movies and stories, but nothing get close to the real impact of Alhambra in live. Masterpiece of the Arabic art, elegant style in every single detail and unearthly beauty of the gardens - this is Alhambra. Due to the stream of visitors, it's obligatory to book a ticket in advance to be able to enter in the Nasrid Palaces. Better thing is to joint to some of the guided tours, but my advice is to pay for a private tour - it not cost so much, but you can see and learn a lot. Both tours must be booked in advance too.

The Lonely Planet Guide recommends to "book in advance" to appreciate the "marvellously decorated emirs' palace", the Nasrid Palace and the Generalife gardens, within the "imposing walls" and towers of Alhambra's red fortress. The guide states "you're in for a treat"! However warn that best visit early in the morning, or "late in the afternoon" to avoid the 6000 daily visitors. The Alhambra includes two "estounding sets of buildings": the Palacio Nazaríes and the Alcazaba form the interior buildings, as well as the Palacio de Carlos V, the Iglesia de Santa María de la Alhambra.
