The hotel features a sauna with a relaxation room, as well as a sports room. Gluringen offers many sports and leisure activities, from hiking and mountain biking in summer to cross-country skiing, winter hiking and skiing in winter (a ski lift and a ski school are available).The hotel offers 28 rooms, each with a modern toilet and shower, TV with 6 programmes and an Internet connection. All rooms are smoke-free. The rooms were renovated in 2006 and 2007. From every room you have a beautiful view of the valley and the mountains.
There are 12 rooms with a large balcony (morning sun).In our restaurant we serve Swiss specialities such as raclette and cheese foundue, meat dishes, and wine and beer from Valais. (In the busiest periods we serve à la carte from 12:00 to 14:00 and a meal from 18:00 to 20:30).
The breakfast buffet consists of several varieties of bread fresh from the local bakery, as well as local cheese, salami, cold meat, eggs, muesli and several hot and cold drinks.The hotel is located in the district of Goms, the northeastern part of the Valais. The landscape of the upper Rhone River is well known for its pristine beauty and wonderful tranquility. It is easily accessible by car and train throughout the year.
The Goms has 70 baroque churches and chapels, Gothic altars and other cultural treasures. You will find arts and crafts, concerts and traditional theater and folklore performances.
Events and activities include village tours, baking and cheese-making shows, play afternoons, fishing, hang-gliding, volleyball and miniature golf tournaments.
