[bean372042, 22/08/2006] The Hotel Glenridding is set in a beautiful location right next to Lake Ullswater near Penrith Cumbria.
It is a quaint mix of old and new architecture and has 36 rooms including four posters and large corner rooms available for a supplement.
The first area you come across is the lounge / bar area. It is beautifully furnished with an eclectic mix of comfy chairs and settees by a roaring fire. Here you can relax with a drink from the well stocked bar, enjoy a snack or warm with a large cafeteria of fresh coffee.
