Description Hilton Newcastle Gateshead
Barcelona Biking offers a range of guided cycling tours of Barcelona and its environs. Whilst most people will probably want a short tour of the city, they also offer tours of the mountains and nature reserves near the city as well as personalised tours for road cyclists and bicycle rental.
Prices for tours include the use of an easy-to-ride multi-geared bicycle and the services of a local tour guide who stops frequently to tell the group about points of interest and to answer any questions. Additional charges apply for adult helmets although these are mandatory (and included in the price) for children's bicycles.
Much of the city has good bicycle paths which are ideal for more nervous cyclists and those sticking to the city will find that much of it is very flat and offers easy riding.
Important - Barcelona Biking should not be confused with the city's 'Bicing' scheme which offers local people free or low cost use of bicycles in the city centre.
