[greejn, 18/06/2009] The George is in the centre of Nunney, a small but very interesting village a few miles south of Frome in Somerset. Recently refurbished and under new management it is an ideal place to stay in the Bath area, with an ultra-comfortable lounge bar with open log fires. There is a full restaurant service, friendly and attentive staff, and a good selection of excellent real ales. the village is very quiet, a rural backwater, but it has it's own castle, stream and duckpond - very picturesque.
