El Mouradi El Menzah - Hammamet, Tunisia - April, 2008
Another nice hotel in Hammamet (15.05.2008 14:22)
On my recent work trip to Tunisia I stayed in two different hotels - I also then visited another so many and had a look around. One of the ones that I visited was this one which is actually known as 'El Mouradi El Menzah hotel. This is shortened to El Menzah to make it easier!! This was the first hotel apart from the first one we stayed in that we went to have a look at and this was because it [more...] -
El Mouradi Hammamet - Hammamet, Tunisia - April, 2008
The sun is shining in Hammamet (25.04.2008 14:19)
On my recent trip to Tunisia we stayed at two different hotels - one of them was this one, the El Mouradi Hammamet. The hotel is actually located in Yasmine Hammamet and is located just across the road from the beach and is only around the corner from the local amusement park, Carthage Land. The hotel is a 5 star hotel and is sold on a either a bed and breakfast, half board or full board basis [more...] -
El Mouradi Palm Marina - Port el Kantaoui, Tunisia
Nice! (22.04.2008 10:12)
During my recent work trip to Tunisia we stayed at two hotels - the second one was this, the El Mouradi Palm Marina. The hotel is located in Sousse, Port El Kantoaui. The hotel is a 5 star hotel and is very large set right on the beach. I thought this hotel was very nice and will give you my opinion on the hotel in as much detail as I can - I only stayed for 2 nights but I know if I had the [more...] -
Carthageland - Hammamet, Tunisia
A bit of fun for the family (13.04.2008 16:48)
On my recent trip to Tunisia with work we had some time to go and visit Carthage Land which is a a small theme park located in Yasmine Hammamet. This is the first theme park ever opened in Africa. Location: As mentioned it is located in Yasmine Hammamet and is not very far at all from the beach. In fact is is only a few minutes away from the back end of the hotel we were staying in which was [more...] -
Blue Bells - London, United Kingdom - January, 2008
It wasn't what we expected! (22.03.2008 15:28)
Overall for me this is the kind of place to stay if on a tight budget but wanting the specific area. I could only find this one within my budget within the area of Notting Hill and wanted to be able to walk to the Royal Albert Hall if I chose to (which we did) and it took us about 20 minutes of strolling. However it is more basic than I would have liked and the rooms really need to be looked at. [more...] -
Discovery Cove - Orlando, United States of America
An amazing place for the whole family (19.03.2008 00:43)
On my work trip to Florida I was lucky enough to visit Discovery Cove for a half day trip and it was one of the best places I have ever been! I have previously been to a similar place in Jamaica called Dolphin cove but this place is much better! What makes this place so good is that the whole thing is made to be a complete day out. Once you arrive you enter through the lobby and then through [more...] -
Antigua Rainforest Canopy Tour - Wallings, Antigua and Barbuda
Adrenaline fun! (12.03.2008 21:00)
The Antigua canopy tour is relatively new to Antigua but not a new concept to the Caribbean. Whilst on a work trip to Jamaica a just over a year ago we were lucky enough to experience the canopy tour there although it was different and in my opinion you get more for your money on the one in Antigua! Now if I hadn't of experienced it before I would have found out the prices for this and then not [more...] -
Shirley Heights Lookout - English Harbour Town, Antigua and Barbuda
Party People! (05.03.2008 23:12)
On a recent trip to Antigua we took a trip to Shirley Heights. We had been planning to go to this place as soon as we knew we would be going to Antigua as it is probably one of the biggest tourist attractions on the island that is very well known. I don't think a trip to Antigua would be complete if you didn't visit here! So what is it? For those who aren't familiar with it, I will just explain [more...] -
Cocobay Resort - St. John´s, Antigua and Barbuda - February, 2008
Stunning and intimate (29.02.2008 14:16)
The hotel has approximately 53 cottages and these range from standard, sea view, sea front and plantation house. With all the rooms they have the same internal decor but hence the names the sea view have unrestricted vies of the sea, the sea front are the ones placed at the bottom on the same hill the hotel is on and these are rooms that also have there own private plunge pools and the plantation [more...] -
Hawksbill Antigua by Rex Resorts - St. John´s, Antigua and Barbuda - February, 2008
Needs modernising! (29.02.2008 14:04)
The hotel is classed as a 4 star hotel and is based on All inclusive. We had been put in a Superior sea view room type to make up for being put in a different hotel as our other hotel was overbooked on our first night in Antigua. The hotel is rated as a 4 star standard but I wouldn't say that the actual rooms or certain areas in terms of design are worthy of this rating as it feels like it needs [more...]
