This restaurant is just 15 minutes walking distance from my home and I've been there so many times already. I think their steaks are the best that I've ever tried!
This restaurant is located on the west side of the city centre and it is just right next to the Westend tube station. It is quite convenient to just walk from the city centre. The building is just like a Bungalow with a garden at the entrance. There are plenty of tables and chairs for the summer months. The sitting inside are also nice and comfortable. There are big square tables which could fit about 10 people.
I usually go for the steak menus, because they are the best value. The menus include a salad as a starter (with 4 different dressing: American, French, Italian and Balsamic), a baked potato with sour cream or French fries, garlic bread and the steak. The price depends on the size and type of steaks that you are going to have. I usually go for the Hereford Rib-Eye (medium rare). It is about EUR18.90 for the whole lot, it is well worth it! They normally put the steak on a very hot plate to keep it warm. Sometimes we will treat ourselves with Bull soups as starters and New York cheesecake as desserts.
Apart from steaks, there are varies different things that you can try. There are salads, lamb dishes, fish dishes, burgers and some vegetarian dishes. There are selections of white and red wines, soft drinks, draught beers, spirits, champagne etc. Desserts include apple strudel, ice-cream, Tiramisu and New York cheesecake.
The staffs are generally very friendly and efficient. Our food comes quite quickly every time. It can get a bit busy during the weekend. They open everyday between 11:30 and 24:00. So the earlier you get there the better or you can reserve your table on the phone before hand.
I highly recommended this restaurant to anyone. They are very children friendly. They will provide drawing kits for children that include colourful drawing pencils and papers with animal pictures. You must try the steak menu is the best!
