On 25Apr09, my fiancé and I joined the Night of the Museums activity. It is a yearly activity which allows you to get into all the participated museums with a special price of EUR12 per person. The price also includes frequent bus transfers.
This is one of the museums that we visited on that night. It is located on the south side of the River Main. The closest station will be Schweizer Platz tube station. It is just a minute away walking distance.
When we arrived at the museum, we just showed our special ticket to get into the museum. It was very crowded and hot inside. We only managed to go to the ground floor exhibition. It was showing the temporary exhibition of the Alien (the film series). The exhibition showed how the Alien was created and how it changed from the 70s until now. There were sketches and models of the Alien. There were models of chairs, Aliens and also things which were used in the movies. There were movies showing from the creator. It was very interesting to see how Alien changed from the past.
I highly recommended you to visit this museum. It is very interesting if you are a fan of Aliens. The exhibition is still showing until 26Jul09. You are not allowed to use your mobile or camera inside the exhibition.
