This, in October 2008, newest hotel of the 25hours family is within walking distance of the Frankfurt main station (ask for the short cut to dead end of Niddastrasse). Eventhough the neighbourhood is rough, with red light district and heavy drug consumption next door, the location offers a cosy atmosphere and convenient distances to both the financial business district of Frankfurt and the fair grounds. The hotel takes you on a trip through interior design of the last century: every floor is designed according to a different time period of the 20th century. Levis has its German headquarter in the same building and was involved in the interior design of this hotel without creating a Levis showroom (which is next door). Every room displays a different model of a Levis jeans (and flat screen, I-Pod docking station, excellent beds, shower, A/C). Make sure you bring your own "501" and you might get room number 501!
Only a few minus: It is almost impossible to hang your business suit trousers on one of the hangers offered in the room: they are designed to hang jeans only! There is no soapdish in the shower to put good Aveda shower products while taking a shower!
But: Service is young, uncomplicated and refreshing and of course wearing Levis fashion. F&B is basic but enough, offering a fresh breakfast buffet and a variety of tasty soups and sandwiches during the day and evening hours. Self service is also available.
No sport facilities, unless you have your sneakers with you and follow the instructions on the jogging map. Two potential party areas: on the roof top for summer activities and in the basement if you bring your own music band: drums and guitars are ready to be used!
If you are on business or a backpacker looking for a certain but uncomplicated comfort and a good atmosphere, this is a good place to stay in central Frankfurt!

Different room sizes are availble: S-M-XL If you are travelling alone S is just fine. If you are travelling with a friend, but not with your closest friend, ask for a twin bedded room. However beds are not next to each other, but on top of each other. And each offering your own flat screen TV!

The main station is only 2 walking minutes away (from the hotel exit right and walk through the building at the end of Niddastreet, then turn left and you see the station).
If you are looking for the red light district, well it is right here!
However good bars are with walking distance.
