Cheap and clean, that is the point right?! Well they got one ok and they are trying to get the other right. If the doors actually closed tightly it would keep out the bugs but they don't so that is enough said about that. If you don't happen to arrive while mosquito season is rampant you might be ok there, but I was not so lucky. After trying three rooms and finding them all filled with biters we are outa there. It's not my fault they own their motel next to a swamp. One additional note if anyone might feel I am unjustly criticizing this Travelodge I would like to point out the main reason why we left. It was the messages left on the walls of each room that was so unsettling. The previous occupants of each room had squashed the mosquitoes on the walls and thus there was a disturbing red spot every which way you looked including the ceiling, walls and doors; including the bathroom. Mosquitoes seem to really like bathrooms. The least this Travelodge could do is wipe the walls clean of blood after each occupant. Ugh.
