[prpalumbo, 15/09/2009] This hotel had a great location within Florence. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. It was new, clean and very comfortable. Definitely a place I would stay again.
[Isa123, 08/09/2009] I had the loveliest time at Hotel Silla. I was there for 4 days with my parents and we had nothing but pleasant experiences. The staff was extremely helpful in both Italian and English (when my Italian reached its limits) and every morning breakfast was served on a lovely terrace overlooking a small garden facing the Arno. The staff (particularly Lucia who said I was like her daughter by the time I left) was charming and warm. The hotel was very close to Ponte Vecchio and the main part of Florence but it was nice to not have to stay "in" all of that. Also, the rooms were of a generous siz

[dravsnia, 01/09/2009] The segway was awesome! we had a great time. Awesome way to navigate and see the city when you first arrive in town. Perfect for every age. We had my mum travelling with us who is not the most co-ordinated of people and she managed to use them really well.
We would definately use them again!
Thanks!

[brucesyl, 31/08/2009] I am an American journalist and travel much of the time. The Hotel David is my favorite hotel in the world. I began staying at the Hotel David five years ago. It was wonderful then, and it keep getting better. The rooms are beautiful, and the setting is lovely. The staff is friendly, always helpful and highly professional. Since the hotel was originally a villa, there is also a wonderful home-like quality to the Hotel David. I think of it as a second home. And, finally, the rates are very reasonable.
I know Florence very well. This is the best place to stay in Florence.
[verk68, 23/08/2009] This was a wonderful apartment - so well situated, clean, great staff; I can't rave enough about this place. Just down the road from the Duomo, right on a sightseeing tour bus stop, supermarket down the road (on left - closes at 8pm) and laudromat just across the road. VERY small balcony, but we still managed to put a chair on it and sip some wine. Wireless internet meant we could play Dean Martin tunes in the background while we sipped a fab red wine and look out at the Duomo. This was a fantastic apartment and I can't recommend it highly enough. We opted to have our car "valet" parked ra

[Vivienne, 18/08/2009] I found the N4U Bed and Breakfast on Internet and after reading the good reviews decided to go for it and am very glad I did. It is as good as the reviews say . I can't find anything negative about it. It is a nice charming guest house in center of Florence and very close to Uffizi Gallery, Bargello , Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. The Staff is friendly and helpful . They all speak English . The breakfast was very good . Also I loved Coffee and Tea Set facility in the room available 24 h a day ! We had a double room Florence Violet - the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was large eq

[NebraskaRick, 13/08/2009] The sightseeing was fabulous. The tour was customized and I could not have been more pleased. Valentina was a delight.
[cavec, 06/08/2009] Strategic position, very kind service
[privet, 29/07/2009] The hotel provides travellers with everything which is required for a long comfortable stay. Very convenient location. Very professional staff with attention to detail. As opposite to many european hotels, even 5 starts this one has a room to move inside our suit.
[kortkrop, 25/07/2009] We had a wonderful time on the Segway tour. My son said it was the best sightseeing part of our 11 day trip to Switzerland / Italy. We were on a performance trip with my son’s High School Jazz Band. They played in Montreux, Umbria & a couple of local places near Florence.
You were very knowledgeable on the sites of Florence. We were able to see so much more than a walking tour. We also enjoyed the free time on the Segways.
[achwood, 22/07/2009] This is a beautiful apartment in a great location. You are within 15 mins of the centre of Florence yet you are also in the countryside - the birdsong is the loudest noise in the morning!
We found Simone very helpful with advice about places to eat and his recommendations were on the mark.
The accommodation was spotless and the pool is a great facility for a swim in the late afternoon, or just for general relaxation.
Being close to the main exit routes was also a bonus when it came to touring the Chianti and Sienna regions.
We would definitely stay again.
[adriane, 12/07/2009] Tijuana is definitly one of the best mexican restaurants I've ever been. It's even the right place to get some frozen margaritas. Friendly and quick service.
[ydeggs, 07/07/2009] We just returned from Italy which included a 3-night stay at Hotel Silla. I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff was so very accomodating. We came a day early - a family of 7 - and they managed to fit us in and then move us to our better rooms next day. The terrace is a wonderful spot for the breakfast that is included with your room. And a lovely spot to have an afternoon drink. We like the location - just across the Arno so that you walk a bit away from the tourists in town. And there are some fun restaurants in the streets just behind. We will certainly stay here again on a

[carolp, 30/05/2009] Hotels have lost their appeal now that we have stayed at the Residence Hilda. The service was excellent & discreet, and the apartment fantastic. It was a wonderful & peaceful retreat from the city. If you are so inclined, pick up the makings of breakfast from the well stocked Conad supermarket just down the street & enjoy in your apartment, rather than partaking of an indifferent & expensive breakfast in the main drag.
We could not have asked for better, which was good as it was for the celebration of my partners 40th. We also enjoyed a fabulous meal at Ristorante Rossini, on a par with the

Fabulous staff, the decor had been finished to a very high standard and the location is perfect, very close to the main galleries and the bridge. Lets keep it a secret!!!

[tuscan2008, 19/11/2008] Hotel Alessandra, located on a quaint and quiet street, was centrally located to all the sites in Florence. The room was very comfortable and clean and the breakfast (included in the price of the room) was more than adequate to keep an American satisfied for a day of touring. The staff was very accomodating and attentive to our needs giving us excellent recommendations to get the best from our Florence trip.
[lbusa, 30/09/2008] I am not in favor of bad reviews, but I feel it is fair to share with others dishonesty of the owner of ISH Florence. According to their website, they offer 10% discount plus 2 Euros commission reimbursement if booking is done directly through their website. I did make reservation through their website. However, the owner of the hostel refused to honor the discount promised on his website. As a matter of fact, he did not even know what discount I was talking about. Even when I asked him to login to his website and pointed to the page that clearly states their special offer he still refused to

[Mati65, 09/06/2008] Fantastic place where to spend a romantic gateway
[nineteen69, 22/05/2008] To say the good things first, this hotel is conveniently located next to the railway central station. The bathroom was modern, clean and well maintained. But from a 4 star hotel with very high prices I expected more. The room was so small that I always hurted myself at the edge of the bed when I tried to open the window. The TV didn't work at all at first hand, and when the staff fixed it, the TV showed all the channels of their Prime Minister but not one international channel - in a hotel with mostly international guests in a very touristic city. The breakfast room looks beautiful on the pict
