Our hotel is situated in an important historical Florentine palace. It was built in the beginning of the 18th century by Marchesi Capponi, a famous noble Florentine family. In the 19th century, the palace was newly transformed in neo-renaissance style. The interior still preserves important pictorial decoratives and frescos. You can enter in the palace also by the back garden- Lungarno Sederini. Parterre keeps the original shape of the 18th century. The four rooms are furnished in style. They are big and spacious and have comfortable private bathrooms (ENSUITE) with satellite television and air conditioning. The DOUBLE ROOM PRIVATE with BATHROOM SHARED has actually private bathroom in front of the room (PRIVATE USE), but the shower and the sink are inside the room. All rooms have TWIN bed or DOUBLE bed. (ON REQUEST WHEN THE GUESTS ARE HERE).

The Suite, finely furnished, is ideal for a romantic weekend. The 3 apartments are located on the second and third floor of a historic building with no lift, with large living area and a kitchenette, a bedroom with a double and bathroom with shower. All suites are rebuilt up are really new and clean. In every suite the guests can have chef and dinner in the apartment with a small extra charge. Kitchen is fully equipped and they'll find dishes and spoons and pots. Washing machine is in the apartment and blankets and sheets are included. Visa, Mastercard, Carta maestro, Visa electron.

By train: stop at Santa Maria novella Station and walk in Santa Caterina Da Siena street (left side of Santa Maria Novella Station), cross the street and they'll find Arno river. Cross the bridge. They don't need to take a taxi if don't have heavy luggages. It's really 10 min walking. |By car: Motorway A1 and go out in Firenze Certosa and after follow for historical Centre until Porta romana, turn left in Viale Petrarca and turn right in piazza Tasso where the guests can find the parking. All historical centre is forbidden to cars until 19.00 o'clock.

The ancient history of the building is documented also by the beautiful fresco at the ground floor, representing St Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus. The building was enlarged in the XVIII century by Capponi family, marquises of Florence. During the XIX century the building was transformed according to neo-renaissance Style. The interiors still conserve notable decorations and frescos. The building also gives access to the back garden (Lungarno Sederini). The parterres still conserve the original XIX century design. Located in the Santo Spirito San Frediano district, in the heart of Florence's historical centre, the hotel is just a few minutes stroll from the major attractions of Palazzo Pitti, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, the Loggia de' Lanzi and the world-famous Uffizi Gallery.
