[sunnyZA, 17/06/2011] The serviced apartment was very clean and well maintained. A couple of 100 meters from the Duomo and walking distance to everywhere else.
Valentina and Fransceso were very helpful in pointing us in the right direction, booking tickets and generally advising without being intrusive.
We were three adults and had enough space for the family not to feel cramped compared to a hotel room.
I would highly recommend Residence Hilda
[cosette5, 18/03/2011] Just perfect! The Hilda is ideally located near the Dome in a quiet street, the whole place is spotless, elegant and decorated with a perfect taste. Our flat was extremely large, smart and immaculate. The kitchen / dinner was fitted with modern appliances, a large set of beautiful crockery and design furniture. The staff was extremely nice, polite and helpful. We have been travelling across the main cities of Italy for several years and this is definitely the best value for money we have ever met!
[EileenO, 13/10/2010] This was our second time staying the the Residence Hilda and yet again it did not disappoint. The staff are incredibly helpful, polite and obliging. Our apartment was spotlessly clean, spacious and airy - perfect for relaxing in after a busy day sightseeing. We were travelling with two small children (age 5 and 2) so having the kitchen area was great for breakfast / teatime. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
[missmel, 19/06/2010] After being disappointed by our stay in a big 5 star hotel in roma, i didn't know what to expect for RH. It was excellent. We were greeted by Valentina who was so helpful and attentive. Our large rooms were a lovely surprise. Clean, comfortable and so close to Duomo. Francessca and Constanza were also so helpful with all our queries throughout. I would go back again and recommend RH to everyone. Even before we arrived, the RH staff kindly helped recommend good restaurants and made all the bookings. It made our stay in florence perfect

Just down the road from the Duomo, right on a sightseeing tour bus stop, supermarket down the road (on left - closes at 8pm) and laudromat just across the road. VERY small balcony, but we still managed to put a chair on it and sip some wine. Wireless internet meant we could play Dean Martin tunes in the background while we sipped a fab red wine and look out at the Duomo. [privet, 29/07/2009] The hotel provides travellers with everything which is required for a long comfortable stay. Very convenient location. Very professional staff with attention to detail. As opposite to many european hotels, even 5 starts this one has a room to move inside our suit.
[carolp, 30/05/2009] Hotels have lost their appeal now that we have stayed at the Residence Hilda. The service was excellent & discreet, and the apartment fantastic. It was a wonderful & peaceful retreat from the city. If you are so inclined, pick up the makings of breakfast from the well stocked Conad supermarket just down the street & enjoy in your apartment, rather than partaking of an indifferent & expensive breakfast in the main drag.
