[more]The museum features designer shoes by Salvatore Ferragamo, who in the 1920s provided Hollywood stars with footwear and returned to Italy in1927. It is housed in the Palazzo Spini Feroni which dates from 1289 and is one of the largest palaces in Florence.
Displays are rotated bi-annually and, besides exhibiting footwear, there are also organised events and exhibitions relating to local art and culture. Closed on Tuesdays, the museum is open every other day between 10h00 and 18h00.
