[BarientosR, 13/02/2010] Firstly, if you are looking for outstanding views of the caldera, this is definitely not the place for you, even though the hotel is situated 100 metres from the Caldera.You can see nice view to the ocean , the eastern coastline of the island and fantastic sunrises. However, the value for money provided by the hotel is commendable. The rooms are clean, and reasonably spacious. The bathrooms aren't too big, but aren't small. [AndreadisPetros, 28/01/2010] Just spent 3 days at Ersi villas. Great value - and it included a modest breakfast. Location was great - very quiet yet only 500 metres from the centre of Fira where is the bus and taxi station. Expected to pay much more. The hotel was spotless - all the time. Would definitely stay there again.
[MorrisJohn, 26/01/2010] We stayed at Ersi Villas for 3 nights, and found it to be a great base for exploring Santorini. It's situated just below the main road running through Firostefani (the other side of the road from the caldera, so you're facing towards the other side of the island), and it's about 5-8 mins walk down the road to the centre of Fira. We found this to be a good location - obviously you don't get the fantastic views that come with places situated on the caldera, but because of that it's MUCH cheaper (we paid 40 Euros per night in late Sept, which is cheap for Santorini).
