[chrisclark, 25/09/2011] Fantastic Riad- Quiet, but under 2 minutes walk from the Medina. Beautiful courtyard and rooms. Huge tasty breakfast each morning. Staff could not do enouth to make my stay as enjoyable as possible- without their help I woul not have experienced half of the fantastic food and sights I did whilst in Fes.
The beautiful building and genuine friendliness of the staff at Layalina have made it the best hotel stay I've ever had
[FedR000Z, 15/09/2011] The decor of this Riad was beautiful, our room was spotless and comfortable, and the bathroom was the best I saw in Morocco. The staff was also friendly and provided great service.
[fidelma, 20/07/2011] This riad has been beautifully and sensitively restored in very typical fashion.
All of the rooms are simple, but well furnished and finished and the bathrooms are an absolute treat. Breakfast is also delightful and dinner, if you choose to take it, is very Moroccan.
The location is tricky and despite staying nearly a week, and being veterans of the Marrakesh medina, we didn't manage to find our way back to the riad unescorted the entire time - even during the day. It isn't a problem as the hotel is happy to send someone to find you or you can avail yourself of one of the many helpful young '

[fionalondon, 11/05/2011] This is an absolute GEM of a place, very pretty and very welcoming, which we discovered by accident, on Google in late 2010. We've now been back three times.
Opened in 2009, it's owned by the lovely Pascal and Khadija Capdevielle, and it's just five minutes drive from Fez airport so it's the perfect spot for a long weekend or en route to another part of Morocco (we stayed there before going on to Ifrane, Morocco's "Little Switzerland" up in the mountains.
Comfort was exceptional - spacious, very comfy large beds with fresh white duvets, wooden shutters, artworks and beautiful silver-fram

[fionalondon, 11/05/2011] We stayed at Michlifen Suites & Spa at the end of March 2011 and left wanting to return as soon as we could. This place is absolutely stunning. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, it's in Ifrane, the "Little Morocco" of Switzerland. It is a five star deluxe hotel so we expected high standards and were not disappointed - in fact it's hard to fault at all.
Highlights: Huge indoor pool which leads to outdoor pool in pretty gardens, food was superb, most of their fresh produce is sourced from a local organic farm called LA POMMERAIE. Best breakfast we have ever had, probably anywhere, a lon

The customer service is outstanding,The entire system is flawless due to the hard working staff and management.

[Iohan60, 18/08/2008] The avenue Hassan II shows his true character after dark. When the lights are on, and all Fès is having their evening walk this avenue has an exeptional atmosphere. It is full of people walking up-and-down, and all the tables the terraces of the café's are occupied.
During Ramadan the contrast is even more visible. Before the Iftar (time to eat) the street is deserted. After having taken their Iftar meal everybody seems out on the street.
[Iohan60, 17/08/2008] The Ibis hotel is located next to the train station of Fès. An excellent location, at the edge of the new town, and a 10 min. walk from the old Médina. The hotel has a nice atmosphere and I had a room with a terrace, and a great view towards the old medina. Spectacular in the evening hours. The rooms are o.k. as can be expected from Ibis. Stay more than 1 night, Fès is worth it, and you will definetely not been done in a single day.
[Iohan60, 10/08/2008] The hotel has its own night club, and that can be heard all over the hotel. So sleeping is not possible between midnight and 04:00. I left the 2nd night, while I had booked and payed for 5 nights. Later I notices Hotel Club had removed at least 2 negative remarks on this hotel that mentioned the noise of this night club.
