This is a lovely small family run hotel with bamboo cottages, each with a shower room, fresh clean rooms that are beautifully designed and a veranda on which we sat sipping cold beer whilst watching the sunset over the sea. The garden sits above a small private cove where we spent alot of time snorkelling but also has access also to a long white beach with a mangrove swamp and fishing boats. In the cove there is a small rowing boat that the resort lend to their customers to explore more of the coast. The service of the hotel is excellent, the owners and their staff go out of their way to ensure you are having a nice time. They made our children fresh banana and mango milkshakes, bought me a birthday cake and took my husband to the doctor when they were concerned that he may have caught an infection from cut on his leg. They were also a fantastic source of local knowledge. We visited a beautiful hidden waterfall on their recommendation, we also had a great day out on Fabio's fishing boat which gave us a chance to see some of the other islands. The food was a really interesting mix of Italian and Fililpino and most of the fruit and veg was home grown. We would highly recommend this hotel both as a place to chill out and enjoy the immediate surroundings and from which to explore the island. Our children miss playing with the chickens, goat, turkeys and most of all Bugs, the dog. Thank you Fabio, Marzia and Baize, for a great holiday.
