Our Petit Hotel Hostatgería Sant Salvador is situated in the same monastery on the top of the mountain Sant Salvador in Felanitx at a height of 510 m in the East of Majorca. This was constructed in 1348 by order of the king Pedro IV of Aragón.
We would like to point out especially its history, comfort, size and situation,
its surrounding calmness and the sensational views that control the north, south and east of Majorca.
The hotel consists of a coffee-shop, a restaurant, 20 double rooms and 2 suites for max. 7 people, all with bathroom and completely renovated. All rooms have sea and mountain views over the island of the national park Cabrera and the valleys of the sierra de Llevant mountain ranges to their feet.
OUTDOOR FACILITIES
The hours slip away when you, lost in thought, immerse into the landscape, that surrounds the building or take a walk on its paths and discover history in every nook and cranny. Or you´ll organise a barbecue with your friends at one of our provided locations – all this is only a small aperitif of what this place has to offer.
ROOMS
The rooms and suites are completely renovated and dispose of a complete bathroom with shower. The interior design reflects the history of the building and therefore the special decoration and the comfort were created, inserting them completely therein. Arched ceilings and warm, comfortable colors emphasize again and again the impressing views over the sea in all rooms.
The suites have 2 double rooms, a large bathroom, a large living room with sofa bed, TV-set, refrigerator, microwave and household accessories.
One of our suite also has a large, private terrace with sea view.
COMMON AREAS
The Petit hotel also has common areas, where you can relax, carry out games and even work if required:
• A hall with several board games and a reader´s corner where you can spend enjoyable moments with your relatives and friends or become engrossed in a good book.
• A further hall, especially prepared with large tables and enough place so you´ll be able to work in comfort.
This hall has WiFi connection, dvd, etc. and is particularly suitable in order to
prepare your excursion or your bicycle-route, to hold a meeting etc.
• Our terrace is situated exactly at the foot of the building and has an impressing view over the East of the island.
Its special situation converts it during all seasons into a sun terrace.
• Our halls of the terrace-café, the bar, the breakfast room in a vault of centennial history and the restaurant.

Coming from Palma, go on the street Palma – Manacor approximately 20 km;
on the right side you´ll find a turn-off to Felanitx.
There arrived, take the street in the direction of Porto Colom.
Shortly afterwards you´ll see the excellent signalized reference sign in order to arrive at the monastery Sant Salvador (monasterio).

GENERAL INFORMATION:
A strategically built place that then served to keep a watchful eye on pirates of the Mediterranean Sea or on other ships mooring for war or conquest purposes.
Nowadays it´s a very quiet and privileged place, in which surroundings you´ll find many of the best beaches and qualitatively high-valued bays of Majorca: crystal clear water and hardly mass tourism.
Such as for example Cala Marsal, Cala Mitjana, Cala Figuera, it Caracol, etc.
And countless other small corners and angles in which you´ll be able to spend a comfortable beach day.
Furthermore, there are daily excursions by ship to the national park to the island Cabrera.
If you prefer to do shopping, the animated streets of Porto Cristo, Cala D´Or offer the best places to go to. Or visit the famous pearl factory in Manacor.
In all surrounding villages, there is a weekly market to be a sight to see.

Here you´ll enjoy the cuisine rooted in the Mediterranean Sea zone with excellent traditional recipes of the island and a large selection at salads and pasta dishes, traditional "Pa amb oli", cheese plates or cold cuts plates with products of the island as well.
Furthermore you can enjoy a large selection at local, highly considered wines.
