Alternatively, visit Theodor Fontane’s home town of Neuruppin with its many sights and attractions, which is only 25 km away. History buffs can travel back in time to the battle of Fehrbellin. A 3-km drive will take you to the former heart of the action in Hakenberg.

If you are travelling from the South, take the A24 motorway for Hamburg at the Havelland motorway junction. Exit the A24 at Kremmen (exit number 25) and turn left for Kremmen. Drive through Staffelde and turn left into the Neurppiner Straße after 2km. Follow this boulevard for 9 km until you reach Linum. You cannot miss the guest house, which is situated on the left-hand side of the main road.
If you are travelling from the North, exit the A24 motorway at Fehrbellin (number 24). Turn left for Kremmen / Oranienburg. Continue through Tarmow and Hakenberg. In Linum, you will find the guest house on the main road, directly after the S-curve on the right-hand side.This 7,000 m² farm and guest house promises relaxing holidays in the “stork village” of Linum, set amid the picturesque Ostprignitz countryside just outside Berlin.
