It wasn't until we woke up in the morning that we were able to experience the true beauty of the villa. The view of White Bay was just as everyone has described - amazing. There was nothing more relaxing that making a nice hot cup of coffee and sitting on our porch looking down at the blue water of JVD thinking about the people "suffering" in Boston.

The accomodations were very nice and clean. Someone mentioned in an earlier post that there was a space under the doors that were allowing "bugs" to get into the villas. That problem has been taken care of with weather stripping which sealed thing right up.

We only stayed 3 nights, and wished that it had been a FULL week. We had dinner at Consair's the first night (very friendly staff and very good food) and then cooked dinner in the villa the following 2 nights. We didn't really want to be out driving on the hills of JVD at night (especially after a few G & T's) and the sunsets from the villas was spectacular (great place to start "happy hour").

We did have lunch at Foxy's Taboo on one day, and the other was at the famous Soggy Dollar Bar!!!!!!! Last time we were on White Bay (12 years ago) the only thing was the SDB and us!! It has changed since then, now with alot more on that part of the beach, and many many more boats and people. We enjoyed the beach near Ivan's over the overcrowed beach of the Soggy Dollar Bar.

Overall, the White Bay Villas are the best place to stay on the Island. Malia & Thad are great host and are more than willing to go the extra mile to make you feel like one of the family. We plan to go back next year, staying a full week so that we can experience this wonderful place.
