The reviewer opens his review by stating that "Brighton is where London traditionally dangles its legs in the sea", he then goes on to talk about the area itself, stating that, in Brighton, "no one's too old to have fun".
The reviewer arrives in Brighton by Train (from London), noting that it took them "50 minutes" and adding that it "has long been the perfect escape" for those living in the city without "tiresome" drives or "airport security". He also adds that the local hotels have "developed a style-savvy individuality" catering to the urbanite market.
He then goes on to talk about the hotel itself, describing it as "kitted out in its best whites", noting that it has "just 10 rooms" and occupying five floors "of a slender townhouse overlooking a small park". The reviewer also adds that the pier and seafront "lie just around the corner" and that the "shops and sights are just a wander away".
Of the Interior, the reviewer writes that it has a "clean, contemporary" interior and that it is quite minimalistic, which also "extends to staffing levels". The reviewer adds that they and their "fellow guests" are greeted by "a lone host", noting that the service is "relaxed and attentive". The reviewer makes a point that there is "no restaurant or room-service menu", and that breakfast is served in "an arty lounge" that by night is a "ritzy cocktail bar with jazzy sounds".
The reviewer then goes on to talk about their room, they booked the "reverse penthouse" which is located in "an airy basement stretching the length of the building". He notes that the penthouse also offers a "glistening kitchen" and that the "super-comfy bed" is dressed with "faux polar bear skin".
The reviewer finishes his article by talking about things to see and do in Brighton, pointing out places to eat, as Square does not have a restaurant.
