Richmond itself is a market town, we didnt get to see that much as we enjoyed our lovely cottage and being just there. You will get to see an occasional derr, lots of rabbits and wild hen around the cottage in the foresty area. Other cottages around are strategically placed so you ont really bump into each other much.
