This hotel sells itself as a 'short walk' from the centre of Leeds and close to the railway station - don't be mis-sold like I was. I booked it on Lastminute.com on a 'Secret Hotel' deal. We were going for a night out in Leeds and because the description said it was a short walk into the centre of Leeds and close to the railway station, we assumed it would be either the Queens Hotel or the Park Plaza - both of which are bang in the middle of Leeds. It was the Crowne Plaza which is a good 10 minute walk from the centre of Leeds - not a position of a hotel you would use when you are going out for the night in high heel shoes and pouring with rain! Taxi was the only option. For the price of this hotel you might as well stay in the centre without the hassle of getting taxi's.
