Really Nice and Pleasant Hotel.

Not suitable for a night or 2 if you want all the luxuries but is definitely a good place to stay if all you want is somewhere to lay your head.

Only downside was no windows in the room and felt a little closed in, but that may of been the big TV at the foot of the bed! :O)

Would use again.

Hi-tech but not for the claustrophobic

Rachel Foster suggests that the Nitenite is a "hi-tech and the quirky" hotel that makes it different from other budget hotels in the city. It is also "well located" and only "minutes away from Birmingham's main shopping centres, nightlife and attractions".
Rooms are "small" and "compact", but "perfectly formed". There is a "huge" TV screen and an en suite wet room containing "generous toiletries". Although there are no windows, the author says that "you soon become accustomed to the lack of natural light". She goes on to say how you feel "somehow safe in the snug, womb-like surrounds of your capsule" which is also "very secure". However, the walls are "so thin you can hear other people's comings and goings". The rooms have no wardrobes but "there are hangers on the back of the door, with space under the bed for suitcases or hand luggage". As far as illumination is concerned "the lighting system rocks" and is operated via a control pad at your bedside. You can also change the room temperature or call reception "at the flick of a switch".
Generally the hotel is regarded as "a stylish and comfortable budget option". The atmosphere of the hotel is described as "relaxed" and the staff are "friendly", but it is not recommended "for the claustrophobic".
