The hotel rooms are average size with new fixtures and fittings to the bedrooms & bathrooms.
Breakfast choice was good, even though the fruit juice was warm.
Bad Points;
Bedroom floor needed hovering, long hair all over it by the mirror.
Bath plug hole also full of hair.
Receptionist was not helpful when asked where could we park to unload, etc.
Breakfast staff polite but win no awards!
Two of our rooms were not in the hotel but an annexe located behind the hotel, which on the outside looks a little dated.
Parking is limited, they have an overflow car park up the road which is not secure and your car has to be moved by 7:30am and no good if you are elderly or disabled!
Fire alarm went off at 3am, no explanation or apology the next morning.
We would use this hotel again, but only as a last resort!

firstly let me do say that they are renovating the place, which MIGHT cause some of the issues, but then they still shouldn't let people stay there, or advise upon check-in. both the tv wasn't working and there was only tipied, not powerful water from the shower room. we mentioned about the tv and they didnt really make any effort to solve it. so we didnt bother saying about the water. further the sheets were so thin, we were so cold.

then next morning at breakfast, they moved the location - so that was a bit random and for the rest the cooked BF was not impressive. everything looked and tasted microwaved. although they did servce some people which arrived after the time mentioned, so thats nice.

for 40 pounds i presume its a good deal, but if bear essentials (the water) is not good, i just cant recommend.
