The buffet breakfast in Robbie's Restaurant is satisfactory, but some food items could be replenished more frequently during the long service period. The luch provided for myself, attending a meeting at the hotel, was of limited choice but high quality. Staff throughout the establishment were pleasant and polite. The hotel has its own car park, which is expensive at £15 per day.

Public areas, conference suites and bedrooms are all fitted with smoke/heat alarms, but disappointingly, not with a fire sprinkler system. The usual fire escape stairs are on each floor; however, their exit doors are alarmed, so cannot be used as an alternative to the lifts by "fitness enthusiast" guests.
