According to the reviewer this hotel has a "great location" on a "lively high street" between two tube stations. Nearby there are many amenities and "great places to eat and drink". The heart of the West End is "only four stops" away on the Northern Line. Despite its location, however, the reviewer states that he found the hotel "pretty quiet" as it is set back from the road. The Hilton London Islington is "not easy to find" if arriving by car. The hotel provides "good underground parking" but it is not cheap at about £28 a night.

The review suggests that the hotel is "primarily set up for the business traveler" with good facilities and a conference centre nearby, but he goes on to say that it is "also popular with foreign tourists" and Londoners.

According to the reviewer the hotel, from the outside, was "not a very impressive building", although there are "well set out water features" as you approach the entrance. The reception is described as being "spacious and brightly lit" and the check-in was "very smooth and friendly". There was, however, no porter.

The room is described as "very spacious and clean" with "plentiful storage space", but the bed was "not the most stable". The "large" bathroom, however, was "immaculately clean".

The restaurant offers "a huge choice" of "quality" fresh foods and does an "excellent" breakfast with a service that was "fast and friendly". The bar area was "well set out", but the drinks were a "little pricey".
