The writer describes this hotel as one "of the three modern high-rise hotels" which can be found in downtown and rates it as "one of the best choices" for all those who are "on vacation" in Nashville. She notes that the hotel has undergone "extensive renovations" in 2002 and does not only sport a "very contemporary look" but is also "less hectic" than some of its competitors. Due to its location it is also "convenient" for those who are on "state government business and the "fresh-baked cookies" you will find in your room when you check in give it a "down-home touch". The "corner rooms" are the "most appealing" in the writer's opinion and feature "sharply angled walls of glass". Rooms which are "facing the street" are more airy and the rooms on "executive level" offer "additional amenities". It is mentioned that the hotel also offers a "restaurant and quiet lounge". Frommer's rates this hotel with 2 out of 3 stars and very highly recommends it.
