There were a couple of glitches to do with the room, but they were resolved speedily. I dined at "Normans" the "fine dining" restaurant in the hotel and the ambience was lovely; however, the food was almost inedible. I couldn't be bothered to complain, as there was little point in doing so. Having left half of the tapas I'd ordered, two thirds of the salad and 90% of the main course, the very friendly waiter asked if I wanted a "box". WHY!

As I left the restaurant bemused and amused rather than cross, the restaurant manager asked if all had been good for me: I replied that it had been one of the most horrid meals I'd ever eaten and he smiled and told me to "enjoy the rest of my day"!!! I laughed so much that it was almost worth the $150 dollars for the experience!
