The Hilton is located close to the long stay car parks and runs a shuttle service to the terminal. Prices for hotel and parking are not too shocking if you can book well in advance. I used to have a Hilton Gold Card and staying here meant I got a few little extras like newspapers, bathrobes and small bottles of wine.

You can't expect too much from a transit hotel but I always found this one very pleasant. I often met colleagues for meetings in the lobby or one of the restaurant and the hotel never seemed to mind us taking up their space. The rooms are of a mid size with double beds, work desks, minibar, wardrobe and other storage and bathrooms with baths and showers, good toiletries, hairdryers etc. They offer more than just the basic entertainments but who really wants a gym or a pool and a choice of restaurants? I would generally turn up as late as possible and just go straight to bed.

Transfer buses run every half hour and take about 15 minutes. Make sure you check the timetable especially for the early morning ones as getting there just a few minutes late could make a big difference to whether you get your flight or not. The car park at the hotel is large and as far as I know your car will stay where you put it; certainly I was never asked to leave my keys.

Given a choice if money's not the issue, I'd take the Radisson for its better proximity. Spending my own money I'd take the HIE. But this is an acceptable alternative to both.
It's Hilton so you know you'll get a decent standard of room but remember it is only an airport transit hotel so don't be disappointed that it's not the most exciting place.
