I have just returned from Fiji and stayed at Bebarra Beach Inn, this hotel ticks all the boxes. Friendly staff, great meals, clean rooms which are large and light. The Ebb Tide Cafe is great for all meals, starting your day with breakfast and reading the daily paper. Happy hour at 5.00pm (just listen for the drums calling you for happy hour), cocktails and nibbles around the bar (this bar is the perfect shape to sit around at night and meet other guests) followed by a perfect dinner and the singing group playing at your table (great voices and explaining about Fiji customs etc. I would highly recommend this hotel to a must stay at whether you are a family, couple or single, you are made welcome by all the beautiful staff at Bedarra.

Just come back home and wished I had the money to go again right now. The people are just fantastic. The accomodation is very good. Location, Idon't think you can get it any better. Most tours pick up from the resort, Fiji time has to be allowed for in regards to pick-up time. The whole Fiji part of the trip has been most enjoyable

I stayed at Bedarra for 11 days in July with my 3 teenage daughters. We were not disappointed. This is a small, intimate hotel set in a quiet and picturesque location. The restaurant was very good, offering a wide menu daily. The food was fresh and well cooked. The staff were friendly in a genuine way. The deluxe rooms we had were spacious and well serviced daily. The tropical gardens were well kept. I doubt you would beat Bedarra for a hotel in this price range.

This former "private home" consists of a "great, two-story" central hall with a "square bar" and "potted palms" amongst lounge furniture. The rooms are on either side of the hall and a veranda, which houses the "romantic restaurant", overlooks the lagoon and a swimming pool. On the first floor, "another veranda wraps around the house". The beach is just "across a dead-end" called Sunset Strip.
Rooms are all air conditioned with "king, queen, or twin-size" beds. The choice is between two bedroom suites or "hotel-style" rooms. On the side of the house, a "two-story motel block" offers 16 more rooms, with "locally made" furniture and big bathrooms with "walk-in" showers. Frommers recommend the Bedarra Beach Inn.
