This sleek, ultra-modern boutique hotel was built using natural, eco-friendly materials with the aim of maintaining an environmental balance wherever possible: the water is mixed with air to reduce consumption and is heated by solar power. The rooms are comfortably stylish and simply furnished, though never compromising comfort, with natural stone walls and floors; the furniture is contemporary and minimal, decorated using non-toxic paints.
The grounds are beautifully landscaped and planted with fragrant lemon and orange trees, oleanders and figs. There is a swimming pool, hydro-massage pools and a solarium. Light lunches of imaginative salads and fresh fruit are served on the terrace, while in the evening typical Mediterranean dishes, with an emphasis on locally-caught fish, are accompanied by a wide choice of the best Sicilian wines.
