[djodjo, 19/04/2011] Catedral da Se is one beautiful building, and all the surroundings also. Near the town hall in the "old town". If you visit Faro please don't miss it.
[djodjo, 19/04/2011] One of the entrances of the old town walls. All the wall is very interesting as it protected the town against wars. Most houses inside the walls are very typic and beautifull. Visit Se Church, one of the most wonderfull in Algarve.
[djodjo, 19/04/2011] You have to go by boat, but you'll love the experience. Watch out the sun screen otherwise you'll get burned! The best place in the Algarve to get tanned.
[mickyr, 27/07/2008] All adds say" Hotel Quinta do Atlantico" the lady running it says no its a guest house hence they dont clean rooms DAILY / make beds / change towels / empty bins .....only once a week ,,,their booklet in room says leave towels on floor but she says no its my job.. Breakfast was poor and addhock depending if she could be bothered.no water one morning .we booked five nights ..say at home....or book a Hotel......Micky...r
[jessieleo, 04/10/2007] We flew into Faro International Airport this year after a two and a half hour flight from Humberside Airport England. Faro is situated centrally on the Algarve coast of Portugal and so gives easy access to most of the coastal resorts. We were holidaying in Albufeira which was about a 45 minute journey by coach through unspectacular scenery. In fact most of the journey was along a major road / motorway through what seemed to be Portugal's car industry.
