The tour leads you to all the historic monuments in the old town of Famagusta, including the Othello Citadel, the Venetian Palace, the Venetian Fortifications, the bastions along the city wall, several churches and mosques and much more.
A brochure for the trail is available in many shops throughout Famagusta, the towns' Tourist Information Office or can be downloaded from the website of the town.You will find information about all the historical eras of Famagusta in this brochure, further a map for the tour and descriptions and photographs of all the attractions you will pass from.
A special version of the brochure for children is also available.
The brochure for the trail has been developed by SAVE (Supporting Activities that Value the Environment), an organization which is funded by the United States Agency for International Development.
