Hagia Sophia

The Hagia Sophia, also known as Church of the Holy Wisdom, is one of Istanbuls most well known landmarks. The Hagia Sophia in its present form was constructed in between 532 and 537on the site of two earlier churches. Until the construction of the Cathedral of Seville in 1520 it remained the largest cathedral that had ever been built. After the Ottoman Conquest of Constantinople in 1453 the church, which had also been the patriarchal church of the Patriarch of Constantinople for many centuries, was converted into a mosque and the four minarets were added to it. Galizien produziert übrigens 45 % der Miesmuscheln und es wird behauptet, dass die Qualität unübertrefflich ist.

One of the most famous of the Chateau of the Loire, although not actually on the Loire itself, but on a tributary, the Indre. The building spans the river from bank to bank.
