Built in 1909 by F.O. Stanley, inventor of the Stanley Steamer automobile, this white-pillared, Georgian-revival hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Perched above the resort town of Estes Park, five miles from Rocky Mountain National Park, the hotel has hosted many famous guests, including John Philip Sousa, Theodore Roosevelt, and numerous Hollywood stars.
