After initially almost getting lost in Caracas, Harry Wagner states that their "flight was delayed for reasons unknown" and that, when they " were finally landing in Los Roques", you "saw paradise before you" when gazing out the plane. There were "white sand beaches" and "many beautiful fish", whilst "on the north side of the island" as they were to discover, the landscape is "comprised of rough seas and jagged volcanic boulders."
