[Chouchin, 03.09.2007] The reviewer's summary of his stay is that he felt "incidental" to Tigerlily's "hypercool". As the "hangout of choice for visiting celebs" it is "manically modish" and the lobby is "buzzing with party atmosphere".

The reception staff are "bright and breezy", one shows the reviewer to his room and "gives a tutorial" on how to operate the lights. "Digital distractions" are everywhere: plasma screens, wi-fi, games consoles, iPod docking stations. The room is "spacious" but the design is a "dog's dinner". The bathroom has an "excellent" power shower and a "challenging" tap but no towel-rail. The view, of "walls and windows", is a "major problem".

The cool theme continues downstairs where it's "thumping rock rhythms" and a "mixologist" mixes cocktails at the bar. It gets better in the restaurant, though, which is quieter and "modern and good value". Service is "well-paced" and "friendly". Most importantly, the reviewer enjoys a good "noise-free" sleep in a "vast and comfortable" bed.
