It is set in central Edinburgh's highly desirable New Town (established in the 18th century), with Princes Street 250 metres away. Waverley Train Station is 500 metres from the hotel, and Edinburgh Airport (EDI) is 7.5 miles distance, an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.

Expert Tip. Take a train from Waverley Station to North Queensferry, a journey of 20 minutes. The route goes over the 2.5 kilometres of one of the engineering wonders of the world, the Forth Rail Bridge, completed in 1890. North Queensferry, on the Firth of Forth coast, is set under the enormous spans.
