The Knight Residence is a development of 25 luxury apartments with private car parking situated right in the centre of Edinburgh and available for rent by the day. Each apartment has 1 or 2 bedrooms large living room with dining and work areas fully fitted kitchen and bathroom. The standard of furnishings and fittings throughout is outstanding and many home comforts are provided. Facilities include widescreen TV's CD player DVD Video digital cable TV in SKY sports complimentary broadband internet direct dial telephones and voicemail. Each apartment even has its own collection of CDs and Videos as well as a central library. Rooms are cleaned daily and a Concierge is on duty to provide immediate assistance if required. For those wishing to stay a little longer the apartments each have a washer dryer. Each apartment also has a secure private car parking space. Please note we do not allow smoking in any apartments.

Situated in Edinburgh's old town, the Knight Residence is within reach of virtually every key business, sightseeing and shopping destination in town. This property is 11 kilometers from Edinburgh Airport, and can be easily reached via the airport shuttle bus, which stops at Shandwick Place, 300 meters from the Knight Residence Edinburgh. Alternatively, taxis are available from a taxi stand adjacent to the terminal building. Located 250 meters from Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile and the Scotch Whisky Heritage Centre, the Knight Residence is also within reach of Edinburgh's main high street shopping thoroughfare, Princes Street, which is 800 meters from the hotel.
Families can appreciate several features of the hotel designed with them in mind. Children 18 years and under stay as complimentary guests of their parents, and childcare and babysitting services are available on site. Separate living and sleeping quarters give adults and children distinct space. High quality cots are available with the hotel's compliments, and a minimum of two televisions per room doubtless resolves many a family row.

Please note:
Lauriston Street, where the hotel is located, is closed due to an unsafe building. As a result, entry to The Knight Residence is via the rear door, from the car park. The car park entrance is located at 7 High Riggs, EH3 9BW. On entering the building, the reception is located on level 1 and is clearly signed. Inconvenience due to these alterations should be minimal, but any guests requiring further information should contact the hotel directly.

With regards to comfort and security, we have taken this very seriously indeed by allowing access to our secure car park by electronic gates only. On arrival at our main entrance you will also discover an external security video door access system. Inside is our inconspicuous CCTV surveillance system and you will find our apartment doors have spy holes, chains and video entry phones. Close by you will find the hotel is within walking distance of all the city's major attractions: Edinburgh Castle-Scottish Whisky Heritage Centre-Palace of Holyrood-Dynamic Earth-Royal Scottish Academy-National Gallery of Scotland-Scottish National Portrait Gallery-Museum of Scotland and Childhood plus Edinburgh's newest and most gruesome attraction - Edinburgh Dungeon. All are within 15-20 minutes walk. For all of our business and conference guests the new Edinburgh International Conference Centre is a five minute walk away.
