He describes the hotel as "plush and ever so slightly decadent", enjoying the "sumptuous" bathroom, the four-poster bed and the one on one attention from his own butler for the duration of his stay.

The food served in the evenings was varied and breakfast was satisfying. Disabled access is good with disabled parking spaces, ramp access into the hotel and large print menus.
