[elspeth334, 26.09.2007] The author describes the Glasshouse, Edinburgh as "Edinburgh's chicest boutique hotel" having "Glass walls" which extend from the "19th-century facade of a former church" and there is a "daring, unique interior". The bedrooms are "decorated in a minimalist style" with a colour scheme "of soft brown and beige tones, wood, and marble". We are told that the bathrooms were shipped from "Denmark" as intact "pods" "then fitted into the rooms". Many facilities are controlled at the bedside unit for example the "drapes, and the flat-screen TV". The "Floor-to-ceiling windows" give views over "the New Town or the rooftop garden in back" Finally, we are informed that the "halls and rooms serve as gallery space for 200 female nude photographs by Scottish photographers Trevor and Faye Yerbury."
