Great location less than 10 mins leisurely walk from Princes Street. An added bonus is free off street parking at the guest house and it is easy to walk to locations in the new town and old town of Edinburgh.
There are plenty of good and varied restaurants and eating establishments in the vicinity and the owners are happy to make recommendations.
The Broughton Hotel is small, cosy and well decorated. The rooms are all en-suite with tea/coffee making facilities, tv, free wifi and central heating. There is a range of adapters, chargers, etc. available for guests.
Breakfasts consist of cereals, yogurts, fruit plus a good selection of cooked dishes. The cooked breakfasts are very generous and beautifully cooked by Freddie whilst Fiona makes sure everyone is served efficiently.
Fiona and Freddie are very friendly, helpful and informative and seem to genuinely enjoy their business.
It was a pleasure to stay at their hotel and we unreservedly recommend it.
