The hotel also houses a fascinating exhibition about the construction of the famous bridge and to help you when travelling further afield, a Tourist Information Office is conveniently located within the hotel. World-class championship golf courses such as Gleneagles and St Andrews are within an hour's drive. Alternatively, for a day of motorsport, Knockhill Racing Circuit is within easy driving distance.

The Queensferry Hotel offers you 77 en suite bedrooms, all equipped with satellite TV, trouser press, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. The executive rooms at the front of the hotel benefit from the stunning views across the River Forth. Also available are interconnecting bedrooms ideal for family stays, and six rooms that have been adapted with disabled guests.

Whilst overlooking the famous bridges, guests can relax and enjoy the surroundings of the elegant Ferry Crossing Restaurant. The style of cuisine is Scottish with a modern twist, specialising in fresh seafood and using fresh local produce. A more informal atmosphere is offered by the Captains Lounge, which opens from 9am to 5pm. Here snacks, tea and coffee, with home made shortbread and scones are served daily. Private dining is also available in the Turret Room off the main restaurant, in the Pentland Suite, seating up to 40, and in The Bridge Room.
