[trivago traveller, 20/04/2009] Princes St is closed until Dec 2009 while tram lines are being laid, so the location of this hotel is ideal as we could walk everywhere and avoid the disruption caused by buses being diverted along George St. The bar and restaurant have excellent views. Our room was clean and the hotel seemed clean. In April 2009 one lift was being replaced so we used the stairs a lot. The problem was our room on the 5th floor at the back. It was far too small for a double and the windows opened only a crack. In the bathroom there was a towel rail which was dangerously hot and generated heat into the roo [more]

[Iohan60, 13/08/2008] This Hotel, located in the heart of Edinburgh gave me a spectacular view on the old town. It is a very good hotel with a nice atmosphere, and comfortable rooms. I stayed there twice, and will certainly go back for a 3rd time. The view on the old town, especially at night, is one you don't forget and want to see again.
