Detailed review by Dalka
Edinburgh Festival is held every year in July or August. It features thousands of artists in different spheres of art, that show to the public their talent for some small change on the streets of Edinburgh.
It is one amazing show. You can see street theater, dances, music, pantomimes and many, many more. The artists are practically EVERYWHERE around the town. You can specially go downtown to see them, or you can do sightseeing and still see them around. This way, while eating some sandwich in Princess Gardens, sitting on the grass, you can see one of many concerts for the day on the open stage there. Meanwhile, you can visit the galleries and museums, and still, around them, you will see artists, doing all kinds of shows.
When you go to the castle, along the streets you wil notice something extraordinary--the pavements will be full of people of all nationalities, that try to get you to pay them some attention and see what they have to show you.
There are very interesting things that you can see like for instance climbers on the facade of the National Museum, or the Art Gallery, musicians playing some very odd intstruments down Princess Street or around Scots Monument and many many more.
In the evenings, it become even more colourful and interesting with the festival overwhelming all the streets downtown and people enjoying beer or two while dipping into the cultural diversity of the show.
If you happen to wonder where to go this summer, wonder no more. Edinburgh is your destination.
