This is a luxury boutique hotel that is part of the Eton Collection hotel group. The building itself was once a church but now behind its largely unchanged façade visitors will find 65 individually designed rooms. These rooms are all equipped with all the amenities that one would expect to find in a hotel of this class, including air conditioning, satellite TV and a DVD player but in addition to these standard amenities there are extras like floor to ceiling windows, designer toiletries in the en suite bathroom and Egyptian cotton sheets. The Glasshouse doesn’t have its own restaurant but it has a bar and it is the only hotel in the city centre that has a rooftop garden overlooking the city. There also isn’t a car park available for the guests although arrangements can be made with a nearby car park for an additional fee. It’s location does however ensure that it is very well served by public transport.
